Custom Game Issue

Whenever I create a new custom game (10/10/10 teams) it will crash as soon as you press any of the sim options, but the sim options to get to preseason and regular season aren't available, so I assume it's an issue loading the schedule, but any idea how to fix this?

Which league setup(s) are you using, exactly? I'll try to replicate it.

I'm using the 10 teams, 2 divisions, 52 games, then im changing the league format so that playoffs are top 6 with 2 byes, I'm changing OT and SO losses to 0 points, then changing OT to 5 players and 20 minutes for regular season, and allowing overtime ties, and thats about it. I'm realizing that it might just be an issue where i can't have sudden death and ties enabled at the same time right?

No, that should be fine, that'll just have games that make it through 20 minutes of OT with no goals end in a tie. But I've tried setting up a game in the format you're using and it seems to work OK. Could you upload your save file and we'll try to see what exactly is causing the crash in your game. Instructions for uploading are here.
