Importing Single Historic Players into Modern Era
OOTP18 is my first game in the series. The big thing that drew me to the game was the historical content and being able to replay past seasons. I would like to know is it possible to import just one historic player into 2017 and see how his career would play out in the modern era. I know I can use the draft from all era option but the players all seem to be in their early 30s. Also I know I can just unretire a player but their ratings are all off as well.

yeah, go to just about any list of league players...
free agents will work. click on available actions, and one of the options is import historical players (maybe there's an import/export button? either way it's in same vicinity as wher you see available actions - top-right portion of screen.) if it can't do it by matching a name, look for an ID -- google dB name, ootp etc.. a thread here will point to the IDs or a direct link from search should be obvious if present. only done it a couple times, and not recently... it won't bite when you try. |

Thanks this is what I wanted. You can search by player name so you have to find the id. I just went into the player editor and copied the id and it worked. Again thanks for the help.
