How to switch historical league from assigning rookies to a draft

I am at the start of the 1972 season in my historical league and I would like to change the game so that instead of assigning rookies to their historical team I have a draft.

I enabled the draft and set it for March 1. However when I simmed to March 1 and the draft pool was imported it is showing the 1973 rookies. The 1972 rookies did not import in the game.

I have made a backup file so worst case scenario is I can manually add each 1972 rookie to their original team and then move my draft date to the end of the season so I get the 1973 rookies appearing for next year.

However, is there an easier way than manually importing all of the 1972 rookies 1 by 1 for me to do this.

I think your issue might be the date of your draft. Try setting it for November 1st.

I can set it for Nov 1 which takes care of the 1973 rookies but the 1972 rookies still did not import. Guess only solution is import them manually.
