Nations.txt/Cities.txt
can someone tell me an easier way to put cities and such into teh game forgot if it was excel or what but i dont have excel on this pc i do have openoffice programs, my other solution was to make a seperate cities, txt then copy & paste my cities in alpabetical order for my EBL i have over 1500 cities over 7 planets to do and have been putting it off cuz i havent had time to work on it the slow way.
also does anyone know a way to make, use, resize interesting flags that i can use for my 7 planets/nations? |

The syntax for the OOTP 11 text files is a little different then previous versions, but if you open up the default nations.txt it should give you an idea of what to do. You don't need Excel, though OpenOffice would be fine too, you can simply create one through Notepad. I've noticed over the past few months that you ask a LOT of questions, in which roughly 90% have previously been answered. It might be very beneficial to get familiar with the search function...I think the search function is one of the most underrated features of the forum. Doing a search on the this topic is definitely more effective then posting a redundant question, in the least trafficked part of the board.
