Can't sell inactive reserve roster player

Today is the last day to get a Diamond pack for 15000 pp. I have 14,663 pp and want to quick sell Corey Seager for 1,000pp but I always receive an error. He is and has been on my reserve roster for a long time, so i see no reason why I can't quick sell him. I tried reloading.

I have 25 active players, have not sent down anyone. This is frustrating because I will not be able to sell the card in time for the Diamond pack promotion.

You can't sell him if this would take you below 15 position players between active and reserves.

buy an iron batter for 5 and then you can sell him. your problem is it would drop you below the minimum roster requirements
