Custom League | Incoherent head coach or manager changes
Hello everyone.
I'm running a new custom league and I'm still worried about the incoherence of team's boards. I'm still playing the first season and at least 5 teams changed the head coach or general manager. I understand that when teams are doing bad some changes are good but one of the changes was when the team was leading the league by 4 points to the second place. It was totally incoherent. Like you can't get more wins than that if you are in first place. Now happened this. I'm in the semi-finals and this team as well but seems like the coach is about to get fired because they just lost against my team. First game out of 5. Another incoherent situation right here. This kind of issues happened a lot in FHM4 and still happening in FHM5. Hockey is not football/soccer though, there should be some more patience from owners in my humble opinion. |

In fact it was already a problem since the begining of FHM.
But it's more a problem of quality of staff data in custom and historical games (in historical the staf are random generated and therefore inconstistant and week in their attributes). If you edit the staff members you we will see a more normal situation in regard of staff movement. I tested with my 70's save. |

If you look at the coaches, they have attributes.
The attributes distribution is correct for standard game since the staff are real (I mean real names and handed edited by the game creators). But in historical and custom games they are randomly created by the program. If it's true the FHM team upgraded the staff creation, there is still some inconsistency in term of attributes distribution in regard to a specific role. Ex. : a physical trainer at 9-10 in trainer skill, Gm under 10 on negotiating and player management, coaches with under avg attributes for pro level, scouts who cannot really scouting... Since they are randomly generated, some teams are bad lucked, and therefore will be trigger happy for upgrading their team's staff. If you edit staff for having more consistent attributes distribution tou will see a lot less staff movements. P.S. For editing staff it's the same procedure than for players. Go to your coach/GM options and unable Commissionaire mode. Now you can edit what you want and after even disable commissionaire mode for normal play. |
