Dah Bears stay hot at home, now 43-25, vs 36-29 on the road. Overall their only top category is 5th in ERA, as Sammy and Ryno are on cold streaks. Still waiting to see peak Ryno on the AH to make the switch.

RDiff is at +108, still 5th overall in record. 12 games up in the wildcard. The Wizards are now 3rd in the wildcard, a game and a half behind the Swedish Fish.

Dah Bears made it to the wildcard but lost to the Swedish Fish, 7-3. Jake Arrieta got one out and then gave up 5 runs, including a Vada Pinson Grand Slam. It gave him a 135 ERA for the Playoffs which is funny
Their Pedro Martinez (93) on the other hand went 7 innings and only gave up 2 runs.

On offense, Cap Anson had an 0-5 day, and everyone else managed to get on base at least once.

Ryne Sandberg ended up with a .256/.297/.392 line. Considering his defense, I'll keep this version for now.

All in all the 47-34 home vs 42-39 road records mean I'll be leaving the ballpark settings as is for now. I want to crank up the doubles and triples, but I don't see this defense really making up for it.

Dah Bears start this week 13-13. Lots of tough teams throughout, including the Flagstaff 49ers, LA Rams, Liberty Elephants, and the Fort Lee Christies.

The only exciting thing is Cap Anson with a .373/.463/.578 line to start things off. Dah Bears are 14th in runs, 12th in AVG, and terrible everywhere else. This is more like the Perfect League experience I expected the first two seasons, but it's still early!

Not a ton to get excited about this week, as Dah Bears continue to struggle, now 51-55. 27-26 at home and 24-29 on the road. In the American Conference, Dah Bears are 3rd in Runs and AVG, and 1st in Steals, but overall only good enough for 10th in Runs and 9th in AVG, as well as 2nd overall in steals. The Flagstaff 49ers have 260 as a team vs my 121.

My Cap Anson has performed extremely well in the favorable ballpark settings, at least

Dah Bears continue to be just fine, currently 68-65. They are 3 games out of the wildcard right now. 36-32 at home, 32-33 on the road. Cap Anson looks poised to win the batting title, but not much else to get excited about.

Cap does get the batting crown as Dah Bears end up 81-81 on the season, slightly better at home with a 43-38 record.

Tomorrow I'll do some more roster digging and see if there are any right handed options I overlooked, but I believe this team is about as optimized as I can make it.

Bear Downs will now go full on hitter friendly, as I increase both Doubles and Triples to 1.5. It will stay with the righty shift for now, and no other roster moves just yet. I may shift Zimmerman to 3rd in order to make room for Bill Madlock, but I want at least another season of stats to look at. I believe this team can win a Perfect League Championship, I just have to find the right formula and a fair bit of luck

Dah Bears are off to a crazy start at 22-5, including 7-1 in 1-Run games so far. +50 Rdiff is good for second in the Perfect .432. Cap Anson is a big reason, with a .376/.474/.624 line to start the season.

Stats are all great to start. 4th in Runs, 2nd in AVG, 5th in ERA, and 8th in D.Eff. This league is probably the softest Dah Bears have been in so far. Whoever wins the Perfect Level Series will be earning their first ever Perfect Level Championship!

Dah Bears continue the hot start now 40-14, 12-4 in one run games. 6th in Runs and AVG, 4th in ERA, 4th in D.EFF.

Cap Anson still leads the AC in OPS at .964.

Every starter on the team except for Greg Maddux has thrown a Maddux. Arrieta has 2, Mordecai Brown has 5, Dizzy Dean has 4, Rick Reuschel has 1, and Prior threw 2 before going to the bullpen. Step up your game, Greg!

Half way through the season, Dah Bears still show signs of strength, 58-22 now. 18-7 in one run games and 31-9 at home vs 27-13 on the road. No player is standing out, but everyone is playing well.

Still a lot of baseball to go, but this is fun and terrifying to watch

Dah Bears find themselves at the top of the current power rankings, 3rd in runs and AVG, 4th in ERA and 9th in D.Eff. The RDiff of +158 is second overall, and they are +9 on the Pyt. 78-28 overall, 24-8 in one run games. I'd rather be lucky than good

Dah Bears have clinched the division, a 95-38 record, and 30 games up. With one day to go, we are 2nd in Runs, 3rd in AVG, and 4th in ERA overall.

+191 Rdiff, 54-14 at home and 41-24 on the road, while an astonishing 31-8 in one run games. The next closest team is the Great Lakes Loons, who are 8 games behind in the overall standings. One more day to go, but either way Dah Bears are getting past the wildcard round for the first time in the Perfect Leagues

Dah Bears enter the playoffs as the top seed, which is crucial because they crushed at home this season. 64-17 vs 50-31 on the road, and 34-11 in one run games.

This will be our first Division Series in the Perfect League, a victory regardless of how the playoffs go.

Dah Bears squeak by in the Division Series against Tahiti. Mordecai Brown pitched a complete game shutout, with 7 K's and no walks.

Coming up is a very series against the Loons, a team built against righties, so it should make for a very interesting matchup. Their team and park are both pretty much the polar opposite of mine.

The Perfect league series went the distance, but Dah Bears couldn't keep up. The season was a fantastic success, home field advantage determined everything until the final game, unfortunately for Dah Bears. The Season ended with a score of 1464, their highest score since the Bronze leagues.

Hopefully they can keep the momentum going into next season!

Dah Bears lead their division by 2 games, facing a couple of tough opponents in the Orlando Calrissians and the Cracktown Drug Mules. only 23 games have been at home so far, so the numbers should even out, but right now 33-21 overall with an RDiff of +15, 9-2 in one run games.

88-55 overall, 50-21 at home, 38-34 on the road, Dah Bears should handily win their division, but will likely not have the home field advantage in most of the playoffs.

On the plus side, Greg finally threw a few of his namesake

Dah Bears lose the Division Series 1-3 against the Bradford Maple Leafs, a team they defeated 7 times and lost to 0 times during the season. The Maple Leafs were 80-82 on the season. They ranked 22nd in Runs overall, 13th in AVG, 22nd in HRs, 10th in ERA, 26th in Ks, 2nd in D.Eff. It could be an abandoned team looking at their current pitching staff. Their park settings are all 1s, so it is surprising that crew didn't give up more HRs. 135 scored, 157 allowed during the year. Dah Bears had been 4th during the season in HRs with 196 as well, really had the edge going in.

Regardless, a tough way to end the season. At least Sammy Sosa hit the most HRs - 39

Thanks to the Collection Missions releasing with the Cubs, we have a bunch of new cards to look at!

Ernie Banks (97) is giant upgrade over the 93 version, 117 Def vs 63, with virtually identical hitting stats. He will replace Don Kessinger (71) as the every day SS, and Don will become the utility infielder.

Jack Taylor (93) is a solid starter, taking the number 4 spot from Dizzy Dean (89). Dean Moves to the 5 spot, and Rick Reuschel (92) heads to the reserve roster.

Sammy Sosa (92) beats his 91 counterpart with a slight hitting upgrade and a very small defensive downgrade. 99 Power vs righties puts him up there with PEAK David Ortiz, though a weaker hitter overall to be sure

One more roster move, Billy WIlliams (96) replaces Billy WIlliams (83) to give an awesome bench option on the road, and an OK one at home.
