New League with Roster Resets After Season

Thanks in advance for those who can help me with this. It's my second year playing OOTP and I'm trying to dig deeper into the game's features. What I am attempting to do is create a league of all major league teams and play an entire season including trades of players. At the end of the season, my league's results will be kept in the game's history.

After that season however, I would like to revert the rosters back to whatever the major league rosters are as of that date. For example, if my league ends in August and I want to begin a new season, I would like to re-set the rosters to whatever they are in the August major league season. Is this possible (and is it easy)? I would rather not have to manually adjust the rosters. I was hoping that the new "live services" function would allow me to restore the rosters at the end of the season.

The reason I want to do this is so I can keep a record book of my league through all of my seasons. I consider each season a fixed chapter. After each season, I reset rosters and begin a new season based on the current major league rosters. Thoughts on how to best do this?
