Random Debut Question

If you start a random debut game are all players real or are there fictional players mixed in?
So say I start in 1930 with random debut will all players be real?
Also when you draft every year will all those future players be real?

I would like to know as well. And if you start a 2019 game with random debut checked will they be in the next draft?

As far as I know the answer to both questions should be yes. I know in past versions it's been that way anyway. I haven't played this year's version yet.

Wait sorry, I don't believe fictional players are involved though. Just people from the Lahman Database. All real.

The reason I ask is because I am adding all available minor leagues
And while the MLB seems populated by all real players and some of AAA have some real players it seems all the lower levels are fictional.
I say seems because who knows if they are random minor league players
There might be guys from 1922 that I’ve never heard of or 1947
Who knows but they just seem fictional
I have simmed a few seasons and while real MLB players are randomly introduced there still seems like fictional players are there as well.

I believe the players are pulled randomly from the historical database. So, it'll be just the players who appeared at the major league level.

If you start a historical league and set it to random debut, that is players from all eras, all the players will be real historical players.

Are the updates to the historical players worth beginning a new save or should bring my save from 19 forward in 20?

In 2019 the same historical guys show up and not different ones and the next year no historical guys show up.
