Did you happen to start that from a quickstart that was created a few updates ago? That looks like a missing records file, which was a problem with quickstarts right around release time. It's like that for all teams and leagues, right?

Nope! It was a standard game and it happened first in a historical game after the new patch rolled out. Now every new game created, historical or not no longer have records or stats recorded.

Sounds like something's gone badly wrong with the records.dat file. Can you try reinstalling the last update (or, if you're on Steam, go to your library, right-click on FHM4, then properties, local files, and "Verify Integrity of Game Files." That should get it back to what it's supposed to be.

Hmm, something odd going on here, I just found a recent test game where it's happening. We'll have to investigate a little more.
Edit: Uh-oh, I think I see what it is. The records.dat file is missing from the Current.quick folder. I copied it over from OpeningDay.quick, started a new game, and the records are back. We'll get that fixed. Copying that file into an existing save may also work (I just tried, and it starts OK and displays the records), but I suspect some oddities may crop, particularly if the game has been going for a while. Did you copy it into the folder for your save (the one with the save name, ending in .lg), or just into OpeningDay.quick?

I'm just using the default one from OpeningDay.quick. Although I wonder if it may not work properly if the save is a little farther along than the one I tried, which was still in the first season.

Oh I see. Either way it wouldn't work with a new save or a previous save.
