Mysterious Prospects

Started a new game (custom league), and we're onto the first entry draft. However, I have no scouting reports for any of the prospects.
Would this be because I didn't set a Jr league, so my scouts have nothing to watch?

Sort of. With no junior league in a custom setup, the players don't get generated until right before the draft, so there's no opportunity to scout them beforehand.

But they were showing up in the draft list when I started my league.

Kinda sucks because it means I'm pretty much drafting blind.

Sorry, I was wrong about that, I just double-checked and they do get generated at the start. What you need to do to scout them, since they're not asssigned to teams, is assign your scout(s) to scout free agents and/or draft-eligible players. If you assign them by region, they won't be able to do anything, since there's no junior league.
