No expansion draft?
Running a historical game from late 60's. Got through 71-72 and was notified that the Islanders and Flames were added. But there was no expansion draft. Not sure where their players came from. I guess they got whatever FA leftovers were around? Also mentioned the WHA starting, but no players were lost to them.
Finally, Gordie Howe is still playing. No wonder since he got a 9 week injusty, but kept playing. I'd get notices that he was missing more time (I'm not playing as the Wings), but I'd check and he was still accumulating stats. And getting additional injuries, but still playing. I think he was down to 10% effectiveness when he was finally "not injured' |

Lots of views, no info.
Any comment on what's supposed to happen in historical leagues in an expansion year? |

It's possible "Run Expansion Draft" was left unchecked when you started the league. I've seen others that have run into that issue.

You need to click "run expansion draft" even if starting years before expansion? I thought that was an option for starting a new game.
