What is the best way to move players from one team to another ? I want to tweak a roster.

Be in commissioner mode

I am in commissioner mode. Do I just do a trade? I can't seem to find a way to override the actual trade process.

Yes, set the trade up the way you want, and then use the Force Trade button.

Or you can click on the player, go to the editor tag and then halfway down on the left there a spot where you can move them to any team.
