Super cool!

I remember going to the Reds HOF on field trip when I was little. Somebody working there had this program where we split into small groups and randomly assigned teams. We had to construct an all-star team within our budget and then project how well our team would do.

The challenge was try putting 5-6 kids with limited baseball and money experience in the same group on a fun field trip. Anyways it was probably the first time I've been interested in that aspect of sports in general.

Incredibly cool some teachers are doing this. To be playing in essentially an online league and learning as well would get kids way more excited about learning then many other things.

Great for OOTP recognition as well!

Nothing worse than having your whole plan thrown into chaos by a financial oversight or two! Great way to engage kids in fun learning.

That's really cool that OOTP inspired that field trip activity for you as a kid! It's always great when games can spark an interest in real-world topics too. Sounds like a fun way to get kids engaged with baseball management in a low-pressure way.

What an awesome initiative! Teaching kids the intricacies of baseball management through OOTP is a brilliant way to combine education and fun. The Business of Baseball club not only provides a unique learning experience but also fosters critical thinking and decision-making skills. Kudos to Justin Lander for introducing such an engaging and educational program. It's great to see students actively participating and even purchasing their own copies of the game. This innovative approach to learning showcases the potential for educational tools beyond traditional methods. Exciting to think about how the club will evolve over future seasons!
