Sometimes you get monsters of kids and when they're 34 they sill look 14 - other times you get a Chinese looking person with Afro hair - born in Ireland. Imagine what this would look like with a helmet on his head - He will need a lot of confidence + Love from his fans to have some success I'm not against this feature but i think we can play the game without it and there are some other features that have more value to add in my opinion. - adding the bonus-/signing fee option to the contracts - adding Agents between player and GM ( later ) - adding a head coach that you can hire-/fire - more wider detail on your GM - adding more control about finance -/marketing or hire people - improve the news system better

Crombeen, I hate to break it to you but FM's face generation is not really a good point of comparison. OOTP is. I don't really know what you're getting on about.

Well I have never played OOTP like so many people in the world because I have no idea how the game of Baseball is played. My passion for sports go to hockey and soccer.
From the feedback I can read online, OOTP is a good simulation game, better than Football Manager ? I doubt to believe that because you can't compare them really that much, FM is one of the best selling games on the planet. OOTP probably has it's own kinda features and styles that makes the game very cool to play for the people who are interested but when you're developing a brand new game you have to stick as much as possible to the core values of that game. Versions of this game will come and go before it's called a 'perfect' and a great Hockey simulation game. We have to understand that version 1.0 of FHM is made by the same people as OOTP but you can't compare those games to each other there are 13 Versions in between. I doubt to believe that the OOTP developers had added that super cool face-generation feature that OOTP maybe has to version 1.0 of the game. I think versions of that game have past before they included it, because it's more of an extra option not a must have feature. Don't get me wrong here, I would also love the coolest features and nice detail to this title from the start but you have to be realistic for version 1.0. What those developers are during with just a few people and such a small budget is huge. You can not expect them to just rip something out of OOTP and sick it in FHM.

Can you do the facegens hockey card close-up style so that players have an excuse to be in the helmet and see a bit of the jersey?
Of course, it still does leave some issues with goalies, unless they're casually resting their mask on their head, like this (but at a front-on profile): |
