Therewas a horrible schedule glitch. Teams playing in two different places at the same time on the same day.
I'm going to have to start over and do something different. Sent from my LG-M150 using Tapatalk |

This is what happened and why this was abandoned. As you can see, both the Philadelphia Athletics and New York Highlanders have games that can not happen simultaneously. Hopefully, they can fix this in OOTP 20 and, if they do, I will restart this follow. |

I have that happen a few times, just shrugged it off and continue, like play in one city and travel to another in the afternoon. . Yes it the scheduling process could use some work. If that was the only thing wrong and not crashes then consider it plausible.

I came up with the idea to try something different. I would sim through the season all the way through the draft and then follow the career of one the 1904 St Louis Cardinals draft picks.
The Cardinals went 49-105. The worst record in all of baseball. The New York Giants beat the Cleveland Naps in five games in the World Series. The Cardinals then drafted Ty Cobb! And got him signed! So I am going to turn this into the career of Ty Cobb as a member of the St Louis Cardinals! Sent from my LG-M150 using Tapatalk |

In any event, an error like this shouldn't cause your game to crash. If it did, then something else must be causing it. If you just gave up on your own out of frustration with the schedule, then, if you'd like, I can post a corrected version when I've figured out how to fix it. |

vrobx1: Found and fixed the problem. There's a discrepancy between the schedules published in Sporting Life and The Sporting News, but I'm reasonably confident that the former is correct. The game at New York against Philadelphia should actually be a game between those teams at Philadelphia on April 21. The game at Philadelphia on April 27 should then be switched to New York.
That looks odd because it means Philadelphia has a one-game road trip to NY on the 27th - that didn't seem right, but I checked both publications and that appears to be the way the schedule was written. It's not implausible - it was a relatively short train ride from Philadelphia to NY - and it's certainly not the strangest thing I've encountered in these early schedules. In 1904, the leagues were still working on coordinating their schedules after having been at war for nearly three years, so these types of quirks shouldn't perhaps be too surprising. Anyway, here's the corrected schedule. I'll also post this to the bugs forum. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. major_league_ml_c_1904 corrected.lsdl
