it's all about live speculation this year but even that is getting tougher now that everyone is trying to do it. no more 6K 99s on the market lol

The live speculation seems to have paralyzed the auction house.

I'm just trying to buy some lower-cost non-Live's very close or right at floor value (5 for irons, 25 for bronzes and 100 for silvers). If I need some of these guys for tournaments or collections then I'm ahead of the game before prices go up. If I don't then I've lost nothing as I can quicksell them and get coins back if I'm in a pinch.

The price floors for live cards need addressed. Two options I see are, one, to remove them altogether so that the market sets their prices according to their value. Two, the price floors for live cards need to be a function of the average sell price of a range of cards. So, if you quick sold a live gold card it would be, say the average sell price of all 76s-79s.

someone dumping their investments or developers trying to get the market going?

The developers do not seed the market with cards.

Really quiet AH this weekend. There are just 11, yes 11 Second Baseman on AH from 84-100!

Necro'ing this thread because I wanted to make a comment but didn't think it was new-thread worthy...

A few days ago it seemed like the AH had become more stagnant than ever, but then some of my cards starting selling again over the weekend. This is a somewhat normal pattern, I find, so I'm not sure if the Collection Missions announcement has had a tremendous effect or not.

Additionally, the thing that spurred me into making this comment is I've been trying to sell a Christian Yelich card but haven't had much luck. There were 3-4 Yelich's in the AH earlier today and a couple went unsold, but one just sold for 400 PP more than the listing I had (I always add my rival sellers to my watch list to see how the card is doing demand-wise). Ugh, I hate it when people don't shop around. Now mine is the only one if anyone has a desire to pick up a Yelich (full disclosure--it has stats from a previous owner which is why I don't want it any more). Hopefully, the AH keeps flowing because this game/mode would be way less fun if the wheeling and dealing were to stop.

EDIT: My Yelich just sold for 28999 PP BIN, so I take a small loss after the 10% haircut (I paid 27K originally), but am ok with that. Thanks for buying it if any of you guys are the proud new owner and may he win many PP for your team.
