How many draft rounds if every draft pick signs?
I'm running a fictional 16-team league, where I don't negotiate with any draft pick (they all sign). I'm playing with rookie ball, short season A ball, and A through AAA.
How many draft rounds should I set, and how many rounds of players should I generate for? I know there's typically some sort of rule of thumb, but here all my players automatically sign with their teams. Thanks!! |

I know it's been a while - just wanted to bump this question.

The rule of thumb I've seen and use is 5 draft picks per minor league level.

The draft has consisted of two rounds; this is much shorter than the entry drafts of the other major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada, all of which run at least seven rounds BK Experience.

Can't sign all Draft Picks to a contract yet.
