Adding Affiliate Teams

Is it possible to acquire an additional AZL or DSL team?

If you go to league settings and choose the AZL/DSL, you can edit league structure to add new teams to the league, then set the team you wish to acquire as an affiliate for your franchise.

Awesome. Thanks so much. How do I add teams to a league from the basic league settings screen? I do not see an "Add teams" button.

From the League Settings you go to "Edit League Structure" to add a team. The game will generate a name for the new team, but it takes two seconds to overwrite it. Make sure you generate a schedule. Once you add the team, go to "Leagues And Teams" from the League Settings. Use the pull down on the right to select the minor league you want, and use the pull down next to the team name to select the team to which is is affiliated. The whole process takes a minute.

Thank you. Can I still make the change in an existing league, bc. I still don't see the option?

I don't know what it is you're not seeing.

Keep in mind you can't edit the structure whenever you want, it has to be in the league's off season. You certainly can't edit the structure and add a team (or do anything else) once that league's preseason or season has begun.

I see the center column with three options (edit schedule, ballparks, etc.) but there is no option to edit league structure. I know the league is in offseason mode because under the menu bar at the top I am able click on offseason mode.

Are you playing in Commissioner mode?

My screen looks the exact same as yours, except for the edit league structure button. I'm not sure if I'm playing in commissioner mode. What does that entail?

So, I'm not in commish mode but would like to turn it on just for a few moments so I can make an edit. Is that possible?
