Pinnacle Baseball Association is Starting Up!

The PBA kicks off with a modern MLB format with a few slight twists. For one, Scouting (Very Accurate) and Coaching are both on. Injuries are set to Normal (with player injury ratings hidden). 10/5 rules are on. Owner goals are on, and Rainouts are on---A lot of functions most players find annoying. However, I like the fog provided by scouting, the extra dimension of coaching, the challenge of injuries, the idea that digital people have rights too, the realism of trying to satiate an idiotic boss, and hey, sometimes plans are ruined by rain.

Second, there are four foreign leagues running in the background to provide color. They largely won't interfere with the main league except at the fringes, but surprises do happen.

Third, I plan on doing a lot of writing in the league and encourage GM's to do the same! (should they have that inclination of course). A slower sim schedule will help accommodate that, so we'll be simming every three days. This may not be the best league for those of you who want to jet along quickly in a season (And that's okay! Most leagues are every other day at least!)

A few other things to note:

DH is active in both leagues.
Drug Suspensions are on with all suspensions set to low.
Ratings are 1-10 (I'm amenable to changing the ratings, but don't want incredibly detailed ratings) with Stars on.
Draft Picks and Recently Drafted Players can be drafted.
My love of history and navigation means I'll primarily use the boards, but the league does have Slack set up.

Everything else is pretty standard, or minutiae you can ask me about.

I know the commish here from another league...he puts a lot of effort and energy into any league he is a part of and always has attended to the small details. Probably a good person to sign on with if you are looking for this style of league.

Teams above are still open, though some people have requested Rays and Mariners and not gotten back to me. If you really want those teams and are willing to wait a day or two, I can give them to you. Any other team is yours for the taking.

I'm a complete OOTP newb, but if you don't mind that I'm interested in the Marlins.

Also, when trying to follow the links in the OP I got a 509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded. That's probably something you'll need to address before things get going.
