Importing 2020 MLB player universe into a fictional league fantasy draft?

Hi everybody,

I need to create a custom 12 team league for my class. I figured the fictional league option was the way to go, but the league universe is understandably loaded with fake players.

How do I import current real-life MLB players into the fantasy draft? I keep trying to clear the rosters and delete these fictional free agents, but they keep popping back up in the draft pool.

Is this something I need to configure before I officially create the league? I have no problem with scrapping everything and restarting. I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a clear solution. Please help!

You're not alone... I've been hoping for some help on the topic, all while banging my head against the wall trying to figure out just where the creation wizard needs to be flipped from 'fictional' to 'real' players!

Why don't you start with the MLB setup first then make changes to that in order to a) release all the players for a free agent draft and b) modify teams/structure as you wish.

How do you change the MLB structure from within a traditional MLB setup?

Because I want to do something very similar with my fantasy league and haven’t been able to figure it out that way.
