What a season!
I'm ecstatic on how it turned out for my teams; two first place finishes, one wild card, and one World Series Win! And not ONE Diamond or Perfect card. I couldn't have expected it. Here's the details, and I hope all of you at some point feel the excitement. (Part 1 of 2 posts) |

UPDATE after Playoffs... for the Mudville Nine
We managed to win the Division Series 3-2 against the Louisville Sluggers, but fell in 4 straight games to the San Diego Tecs. Now to get ready for our Bronze Level challenge. On a sidenote; The Akron Aeros and Great Lakes Skippers were in the same league this season, and the Aeros won 4 of 6 games. Last edited by HRBaker; 04-05-2020 at 09:45 PM. |

SEASON 3
Akron Aeros HRBaker, F2P Team, LIVE Players Only Aeros will be Promoted to Bronze Just like last year, I would have preferred to stay at my current level for another season. Moving up the ladder with a 77-85 record is odd, but I’m sure it’s because they are filling up the upper levels ASAP. Once the brackets are filled, we should float to our own levels. I did earn enough APs this week to obtain 7 players - although I was fortunate to find some under-priced talent as well. Great Lakes Skippers HRBaker2, F2P Team, Players from MON, TOR, CLE, DET, CHC, CHW, MIL Only Skippers Stay at Stone Level, Again This was a replay of last year when one Whale relegated the rest of us to mediocrity. A 72-90 record is not good, but 65 GB is terrible. Six weeks to fill six levels sure feels like forever... All-in-all, however, I can't complain. I knew when I limited this team to 7 MLB source teams I had my work cut out for me. Mudville Nine AlexOhio, F2P Team, HISTORICAL Players Only Mudville Makes Playoffs for 3rd Straight Year, Promoted to Silver I'm very pleased with this team. It was my best initial pull, and I've earned enough APs to make significant improvements. Hoping to have continued success in Silver. Mudville Nine Update The 84-78 Mudville Nine blew past the Anfield Road Kopites (101 game winners) 3-0 and then fell to the Greasy Small Fries (111 game winners) 4-1. ...Next Stop; Silver Level Last edited by HRBaker; 04-12-2020 at 05:09 PM. |

Perfect Team Week 3
All three of my teams got a dose of reality this week, and they will all repeat in their current Levels. I've stayed true, so far, to my plan to improve the team only through the Auction House and any Tournaments my primary team might (luckily) win. I think Mudville might have done better had they not had 2 100+ game winners in their Division. |
