You could always create your jersey, sans text, with eriqjaffe's program, and then add the text using another graphics program. I do that, using Paint.net.

Or create text in a graphics program and then add it to the jersey via the Image option in the Jersey Maker.

How did I miss this? Being primarily a Mac user, this is great!

Just a quick note that everything should be functioning normally again.

Thanks so much! As a mac user, I am glad to finally have an easy way to make uniforms and hats for my leagues. I have noticed one flaw, however. When I resize arced text in the jersey maker, it often becomes blurry or disappears completely. This happens regardless of browser.
Here are a couple of examples of what I mean. Hope you can fix it! Last edited by camly; 11-16-2015 at 08:04 PM. Reason: Images didn't appear |

I recommend unchecking the text box and then rechecking it. That usually fixes any text problems that I have.

Although just going back to "plain", resizing the text, and reapplying the effect works too. |

Something is not quite right. It seems that the template is rotated

Ok, I think I'm getting the hang of this. I've downloaded tons of jerseys, caps, logos from all the great modders out there but thought I'd try my hand with this. I have a MAC so this program is great for me. Here are the latest creations I've tried to make of my home town Dayton Dragons. Single A affiliate of the Reds. I think I may have gone overboard on the side panels and sleeves but I'm a beginner and it's what it is. How do you all take pics of just a player by himself in the picture wearing the uniform?

very nice crawdad! I uploaded a D logo with a transparent background so you won't have the black box on your cap

You should be able to just select the image you want to edit and click the "Remove Border" button and it will attempt to remove the black (or whatever color) box. |

That would be cool. What program do YOU use to remove the border? |

I took some screenshots of the dragons home and away uniforms and cropped them in photoshop. I used both my cap logo and jpeters transparent one. His is much better but I probably could make it a little smaller. Still haven't figured out how to be able to see the whole jersey in a picture. I just take a screenshot on my Mac of the player (on zoom out) and go from there. I do think the uniforms look pretty good for my first attempt.

Looking good - although yeah, you probably want to make the cap logo a bit smaller. There's a preset button that should somewhat intelligently size and place the logo for you:
As far as seeing more jersey, zooming all the way out is about the best you're going to get. You can also find the raw picture in the "profile_pictures" folder (your_league.lg\news\html\images\profile_pictures, although the path may be different on a Mac). Those look something like this: The website is using a tool called Imagemagick, which is a command-line graphics manipulation program that has a native PHP implementation. It's not for the faint of heart, though. I don't know what's out there for a Mac aside from Photoshop, but you could always use the web-based Pixlr to do some basic image editing. It seems to be a Mac only issue, which is disappointing since Mac users are already unable to use justafan's app

I've been able to use the Chrome and Mac combo just fine. I have an older model, however everything has worked so far for me. Of course, I haven't been on in a week, so maybe something has changed.

I was going through the threads and saw someone talking about the Davenport (Iowa?) River Rats, fictional. It was mentioned that there was a jersey in the nickname project. Found it, by justafan, and made an away jersey to match. This is a great program.
