Ok--Who did it?
Who turned to the darkside? I know a few of you have picked up Fight Night 2004 and I want to know what you think.
Sounds pretty fun. . . Don't by shy, lay it out there. . .of course your going to have your naysayers on the board that are sim fans only, but I like to have fun! what do you think of it? erick---I know you have it!

Is that the Ea Sports game? I'll probably pick it up at some point, I have a thing that attaches to the playstation that picks up where you are throwing punches and it provides a good workout. Its not all that accurate and I'm not sure if this game will work with it since they are using the total control system but I'll probably rent it first to see if its worth buying.

I picked it up earlier today and just finished playing around with it for the past hour or so. First impression is positive so far. I haven't touched the Career Mode yet as I have only fought a couple of quick fights just to see how the controls work. There are only a few things to remember in regards to controls while the rest seems to be focused on defense and overall offensive strategy.
It looks promising as far as arcade style boxing games are concerned but I wouldn't expect too much along the lines of a simulation. Also, it seems that there are only a handful of fighters and most seem to be rated nearly the same. More time is definitely needed and I'm sure that will come sooner rather than later since it was fun for the short period that I have played it so far. |

Well that's cool. I'm thinking of picking it up myself, but only if I hear that it is fun.

Pitt;
Man, I had the Panthers in the office pool. I figured if anyone could beat UConn, it would be them or Duke. So what happens? Oklahoma State sneaks up and bites me in the behind. Don't know if I can share info with you after that, man ... LOL!

Couriers--thanks for the link man.
Vista, or Ron, I know, it was another disappointment for my beloved university. One of these days, the worm will turn and the Panthers will rise again! hahahahahahahahahaha
