I just want to share
The newest addition to the Bronx Bomber family arrived home last night. An 8 lb. Bronx Bomberette born on 01-19-2004 was released from the ICU (thank God the problem cleared up quickly) and is home and doing great. She'll have the priviledge of spending her first Friday and Saturday nights of life watching the fights with her proud Dad (if she's awake which I'm sure she'll be). That makes three girls . Maybe this will be the one to actually likes boxing

As the father of four daughters and one son, I commend your addition to the beauty of America. I hope you enjoy your girls as much as I have mine. Congrats on the recent arrival.

Congratulations! Maybe if you buy her a mobile with figures of Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Sonny Liston, etc, boxing will work its way into her head sub-consciously....
or it might give her nightmares....!

Congratulations to you and your family Bronx. As the other blokes have said, there is nothing more special than the birth of your own kids. Well done mate.
Cheers, Shane.

Let me add my congratulations as well, nothing is more important than your children. Just went to my 15 year old daughters last real parent teacher evening before she takes her crucial exams in about six months. She's doing really well so it was a good night and a huge relief!
My point is they grow up so quick. Make the most of each day with her because they are all precious. Congrats again on being a dad. rgds Dean |

Congragulations to you and your family!
I have 2 daughters (21 and 18), and I just want you to know being a father to those 2 has been and is the greatest thrill and experience of my life. In fact, I loved it so much, I asked my wife if she wanted to have another. She then went into the kitchen and got out a knife. I guess that was the answer. I am envious. |

I have two teenagers and a dog. Guess who greets me at the door every day when I come home from work?
They're great kids, and like Dean said, squeeze all the joy you can out of life now, because before you know it they're grown up. Not that they aren't still loveable then, but they have grown-up interests and distractions. Enjoy every stage. They'll always be your kids, no matter how old or wise they are. Cap

Congratulations on the new addition. When it was my turn to deal with the crying baby in the middle of the night, I used to pop old fight films into the VCR and watch them while I rocked my son back to sleep. Now, as a 5 year old, he's smacking his dad around the room with Socker Boppers while we watch Friday Night Fights. Just learn from my mistake . . . don't teach your daughter how to throw a left hook. Ouch!

Please let me also add my congratulations to you and your wife. Mind you she did all the hard work over the last 9 months all you contributed was less then two minutes of your spare time, Well so your good lady is telling everyone i have heard
On a more serious note never ignore them even when your busy, if possible always make the time to talk with your children. Because one day from now, many years in the future, you to will want them to talk with you and lets hope that they will take time out of there busy life to repay that favour to you. Congratulations Jim!
Cap and Danny are dead right in their comments. Take it from the father of a beautiful 19 year old daughter. Where did all those years go so fast? By the way...what's her name? Best wishes, Mark |

Don't know why it doesn't display Isabella's image... when I copy the URL to a browser, I can see it... and she's so sweet!
All the best to you and to your family, Jim! |
