Ratings
I have a 1976 Whitey Ford in a 20 PT league. I created a historical 1976 league and compared his stats: It does not make sense to me. In the sim game I set the ratings to be 1-100.I did not see a way to set it in PT. But still, it does not make sense.
PT Stuff 75 Movement 68 Control 52 76 Stuff 67 Movement 69 Control 47 How can his stuff be more than his movement in PT but just the opposite in the sim? Can anyone explain?

Ratings
I believe the difference is due to the fact that one set of ratings is based on the league year while the PT ratings are taken and then adjusted to the year that PT is using (I don’t recall the exact year that PT is using as the base).
In other words, all data from all players is adjusted to match a certain year used by the PT engine. So players that hit lots of HRs during the years when everyone hit lots of HRs end up with a lesser rating (than their original ratings). Same concept is applied to pitchers. This is done to help balance out the various decades of baseball.
