Recreating College Baseball as a Large Triple A League
I was thinking about doing this idea.
Are there any websites that would be helpful for player stats, scores and team schedules. However, everything about it would be based on Triple A baseball and if I play it and like the idea then I would then think about adding a similar Major League type league. The temporary plan would be just have one big league(similar to my Midwest League 250 plus team Triple A) but using college team names only(would use mostly MLB players from 1965,1977 and 1990 too fill rosters). |

Try D1Baseball.com
https://d1baseball.com/ EDIT: I missed the part about historical college baseball. I don't know of a site that would have historical college baseball stats. Last edited by cheo25; 03-21-2019 at 01:13 PM. |

I noticed that Wisconsin Badgers don't have a baseball team put then I would prefer they do(for scheduling purposes) however I thought I heard that fictional schedules have improved for OOTP20.

Try here: http://www.boydsworld.com/
This site has conference standings for D1 back to 1865, but it does not have stats. Stats are hard to come by for teams. This site doesn't have D2 or D3 standings, but the NCAA has historical records for teams going back that far here: http://web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/...earchSport=MBA Both of these are good for finding what teams were playing during a particular year, but do not have stats. Edit (NCAA site has stats back to 1990 I think) Last edited by gohorns98; 03-21-2019 at 04:54 PM. |

Here is a spreadsheet that I created back in 2012 with a lot of the data from the two above websites that I mentioned.
I do not pretend to believe that this spreadsheet is 100% accurate, but it could be a good start. The biggest discrepancy will be with what conference affiliation each team has. The further back in history the harder it was to find the correct conference. At a certain point I was making an educated guess. https://www.mediafire.com/file/nvcsz...tory.xlsx/file |
