Contract Question
I am trying to improve my team, I am GM/Coach of the Seattle Thunderbirds. I'm trying to offer a contract to a guy on my protected list to improve my RD, but when I do it says my contract maximum limit is reached.
However, when I go to my contract list from the roster page it shows 29/30. Is this a bug or am I missing some nuance about hockey (love the sport but new to the inner workings of the game) Thanks!

Do you have an active offer to another player at the moment? I believe the game will include your active offers as a contract even if the player hasn't gotten back to you yet. This is to ensure that you can't have 49/50 contracts and have 2 active offers out there I would assume.

I do not that I am aware of. Is there a pending transactions screen that will show me if I have any active offers out there?

Now through the offseason, and once again. I can bring my contracts to 29/30, but then if I try to sign 1 more player I get the message that my contract max limit is reached.
Pretty sure this is a bug, if someone could move this thread to the bug forum? (I'm not sure how)

Assuming this is 2016-17, is Matt Barzal (who Seattle owns the WHL rights to but has an NHL contract with the Islanders) playing in the NHL? If that's the case, it'll count him against your maximum, since it needs to reserve a space for him in case he's sent down.
