Update to Version 2.2.9 (Hotfix) Now Available

We just released a small hotfix for update #2, the new version number is 2.2.9. It fixes the problem that causes a crash when using most view modes on the new player search screen (and a handful of other issues we were working on when the crash was discovered.)

To apply the update if you are playing the eSellerate version of the game, simply download the setup file and install it over your current installation. There is no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course. If you are on Steam, the update should occur automatically, either as soon as we make the file available or when you launch the game, depending on your Steam settings.

Your existing savegames will be compatible with the updated game, but any fixes involving the database updates will require a new start to be fully effective.

Changes in 2.2.9:

1. While on the player search screen, selecting the view option for Mental Ratings (or any option below it) will no longer cause a crash.

2. Winning percentage now calculated correctly in leagues that use it to determine playoff positions.

3. League history in fictional leagues now displayed properly.

4. Bug that cause user's GM contract to appear to expire at the wrong time fixed.

At the moment the game has opening night rosters. We will freeze this now and work on updated rosters throughout the year.

No, the in-game start date won't be changing, and it isn't going to be possible to edit in existing standings.

For those of you playing on Steam, I activated the Steam trading cards an hour or so ago, they should start showing up as you play. (It took a little longer than expected to get them through Valve's approval process.)

Thanks it would be cool to create allow own Schedules and Edit Standings so we can be the Winless Blue Jackets but neither going to happen today. If we have Opening Day Rosters then Start at Oprnding Day Option would be nice or even Edit Start Date to.
