Does anyone have any information if players ratings will be updated from the past ratings in the original FHM as it's been well over a year since the players all over the leagues were given final ratings /projections upon the release ?

I can only speak for the NHL. The answer is yes. Every player in the league has been examined, and attributes adjusted where necessary.

Yes, volunteers have been researching and updating the database for updated rosters. Specifics I'm sure will be announced prior to release on the exact leagues.

all right my turn to ask my question about the new game .. i have read lot about it . cant wait to play with it .. but did you have fix it .
problem number 1 . when i start historical mode ... start every time 80's but when i came to season 1996 or 1997 the game bug and crash every time ... i never been after that . problem number 2 : the trade offer will be upgrade ? sound like draft pick or something like that ? problem number 3 : coach will accept or it will be avaible to recrute it like assistant coach ? and last question the game will be available before the nhl 15 draft on june ? |

Why hasn't there been a screen shot of the game in almost a month? There's nothing new that could possibly been shown or what?

I just read over at the HF Boards that the commish of the AHL told someone that next season the California-based teams were only going to play 68 games while the rest of the league will be playing 76 games. Don't know how this will impact FHM2 for those who play the present day game.

Probably won't affect many as those playing the present day game will for the most part only really care about the NHL.

It will be interesting too see who gets home ice advantage in the Calder Cup Finals if both teams play a different amount of games. The real AHL might go by points pct.(which is beyond dumb) to determine it but not sure about FHM 2.

If anything you'll probably just see a balanced schedule.

Maybe they could split the league and have no inter-conference play? Seeing a handful of teams playing less games than the rest would just be odd. |

it is not about travel money. The teams are probably losing revenue because of less games; however, instead of losing days for travel the team remains home to practice - It allows more practice time. The goal of the AHL is transitioning to solely developing players for the NHL...we continually see these changes since it first became the development league for the NHL. More and more AHL teams are owned by NHL teams or rely on money from their parent club over sales of tickets. I would expect the rest of the teams games will continue to lower as well within the next few years. The season used to be 80 games at one point and now it's 75 or 76 for most.

I am betting that just before the season starts in October is when we will have the game.
Another 2 1/2 months of "tweaking", the rosters will be up to date, etc. I know, "when its ready" Just my opinion. |

Couldn't some of the stuff that they are working on now be saved for the first update so we don't have too wait so long for the game too be released?
