Post Claimed Fixed Issues - Look here for things to test!

OK, so here is where we need your help! We have a list of issues we'd like to test. These include a few different types of issues:

"C. Developer Claimed Fixed"
These are issues that were reported, and Markus has claimed that he has fixed them in the latest beta build. Now, we all love Markus, but sometimes his "fixes" don't work quite right. You can help on these issues by trying out the scenario mentioned in the issue, and verify that the fix works (or doesn't).

"D. Fix Verified"
These are issues that Markus has claimed are fixed, and at least one member of the beta team has tried it out, and it appears to be fixed. These are low priority, but we always like to have bugs verified by two different people where possible, so if you can verify any of these, we can really sign off that they're fixed.

"H. Please Test Again"These are rare, but they usually mean that Markus really thinks this shouldn't happen, and he'd like someone to test the issue again before he spends a lot of time on it. You can help on these by trying to reproduce the issue. If you can get it to a point where you can reproduce the issue, then we can provide Markus with the additional information and we can get the issue fixed!

"I. Cannot Reproduce"These are our "pain in the butt" issues, problems that people have reported, but we can't reproduce the issue. They're typically obscure problems, but not always. This means that Markus also hasn't been able to find the problem and resolve it. You can help on these by trying to reproduce the issue. If you can get it to a point where you can reproduce the issue, then we can provide Markus with the additional information and we can get the issue fixed!

So, with no further ado, here are the issues:

Click here for all of the detail on each issue. It's pretty big, but it has all of the detail you would need.

Click here for just a list of items. You can't really use this to test an issue, but if you just want to see the list...

When you have addressed an issue, post in one of the other sticky threads on this forum, and I'll update the system. Periodically, I'll update these PDF files, too.

Yes, my life is falling apart here. Andreas apparently gave us the wrong password, and my FTP site is down.

TT #3815 - Cannot reproduce

I personally don't see anything wrong with this aspect. Everything seems to be working as it should. I didn't see any issues with the promotion/demotion wording.

I guess I have a question. I'm not sure if it was a big issue for anybody else, but I was wondering if the new patch still had the same issues of FA's demanding some un-godly amount and then finally settling for about 2/3 of their demand. I was thinking about crunching some numbers with patch 2 vs patch 3. I was going to test it for my benefit alone, but if you guys want me to share my results, I'd be more than happy to.

Unless there is an issue in the claimed fixed PDF file meeting that description, nothing would have changed.

Feel free to do whatever you'd like!

TT #18 (More accurate lowest level minor league roster management)
I - Cannot reproduce

Note:
Used existing league, patched, monitored 10 seasons of the lowest level (Rookie League in this case) which has a 40 player roster limit and no ghost/hidden players. Average amount of Pitchers per team was 19. All teams at all times had pitchers.

As far as the mix goes, the rosters are usable, some might not like it though as it isn't a perfect balance position by position. Some teams might have 3 OF, others 8 OF, some teams 1 1B, other teams 5 1B, etc. etc.

TT #23 (Messages not being deleted)
I - Cannot Reproduce

Note:
Works fine as far as I can tell. Indeed, messages are deleted every 1 1/2 to 2 years based on oldest message dates in the folder. 2,611 messages remain in the folder in my league right now however. (24 team league, AAA, AA, A, R).

TT #808 (Scouts Repeat Their Tasks)
I - Cannot Reproduce

Note:
Worked perfect for me. Tested all ways possible. They cycled when I set them to cycle and they scouted only one time when set that way.

TT #91 (Edited media contracts not saved correctly)
I - Cannot Reproduce

Note:
Changed Average Media Contract to $6.0M. 24 team league shows each team receives between 7.8M and 2.4M depending on the various factors after simming a few seasons. Shows up the same on all screens.

TT #547 (Minor League Rosters Appear Empty after having AI manage)
I - Cannot Reproduce

Note:
Created league (24 teams, AAA, AA, A, R), drafted and ran off a few seasons. The 1st season I had to use the fill teams with players feature to fill up minors. After that 1st season teams had between 29 and 40 players in the lowest level (R) with 40 player limit. All other minor teams (AAA, AA, A) had 25 players (25 player limit).

I've processed everything up to here.

Original beta team members, if you update TT based on the supplemental team member posts, please post in this thread so I don't update the same things twice!

Thanks!
