Negotiating Extensions

Is anyone else having issues with trying to extend player's contracts?

I'm playing in GM mode and have had two players now who refuse to negotiate an extension because their personalities clash with my manager. The first time it happened I just shrugged it off as no big deal but this second time is more bizarre. I just got a message from this particular player that he would like to negotiate an extension but when i go to negotiate with him he says he's not interested because he doesn't get along with my manager. My manager's reputation is excellent and his personality is normal so i don't see why my players are having such an issue with him.

I had a player wanting an extention of 17 mil and I hit meet demand. However I cannot hit submit offer. What happens next is it will bump it up to 19mil then I hit meet demand and it would offer 21 mil then up to 24 mil and finally the submit offer occurs. This was the first time that happened to me. I had wanted to keep the pitcher but it refuses to talk anymore so I am just gonna let him go via FA

I haven't tested it yet, but from what I've seen of player demands, some are higher.

For an online league, this might be a plus since more players will hit free agency.
