If you see these guys, tell me, or even better, tell Markus. They shouldn't be happening anymore.

Also I actually work some at the same hitting facility as Brian Bocock and I believe he retired and is now instructing and coaching with KC this season in the minors

Yoan Lopez only has 2 star potential which seems low considering the Dbacks spent so much to get him.

He might be a superstar but he could also be a bust. Wouldn't be the first highly thought of youngster to sign for a nice amount of money then to turn into a bust and wouldn't be the last.

He's a nothing prospect, really. 2* is way, way too high if anything. After totally whiffing on the great Cuban players like Abreu, MLB teams are completely overcompensating by signing guys who aren't even decent Serie Nacional players, and massively overpaying them to boot. And really no one ranked Lopez as a top 10 prospect in the Diamondbacks system either, so while he's a bit of a guy, I also think a 2-star projection is fine.

Yasmany Tomas' contract is incorrect:
His 6th year contains a player option in game rather than in his 5th year. He can opt out after 4 years, but only is able to do after 5 years in the game. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx...71&position=3B 2015: 2m 2016: 4m 2017: 6m 2018: 10m 2019: 15.5m (Player Option) 2020: 17m In game his 2020 season contains the player option. |

I remember some random weird things in contracts from OOTP 15, so I'll ask about those here:
Robinson Cano Statistics and History | Baseball-Reference.com Why does Robinson Cano have a team option in his 9th year in the game? I've never heard of such a thing in his real contract, any reason for that? ---- Jacoby Ellsbury Statistics and History | Baseball-Reference.com Jacoby Ellsbury's final year of 21m should have a 5m buyout, not $0. --- Also are vesting options being implemented next year for all the current contracts, or is it too much work? There's some guys with random weird clauses in their deals but receive team options in OOTP instead. Examples: CC Sabathia's final year can be voided if he gets a shoulder injury, but it's just a team option in the game. Felix Hernandez's 1m team option in his final year can be exercised if he spends 130 days or games on the DL. Will we see that fixed for OOTP 17? -- Oh I see. So is little stuff like that not going to happen like Ellsbury's buyout? |

Pittsburgh Pirates 1B Pedro Alvarez has the ratings of a reverse platoon player who hits better against left-handed pitchers but his career stats clearly show he does much better versus right-handed pitching

Stuff like Sabathia and Felix's contract options with regard to injuries can't be implemented in the game just because of how contracts work.

Can I get an answer to this, I'm actually very curious. Did I miss that he had a vesting option or something? I thought he had 10 years fully. |
