Financial Issue?

I'm wondering if I'm having some issues in my league.

I started in 1871 and am playing each game for one team. I've got financials on and reserve clause off.

Salaries and Revenues seem ok for where I'm at in history but suddenly starting in 1872 most teams have high "other expenses". Like Boston has 38,000 in other expenses which is way above where revenues are at for all teams. I went in and gave all teams enough cash to compensate and have 2,000 clear. Then in 1873 the same thing happened with other expenses!

Not sure if I should do auto adjust all financials or what. Because of these other expenses no teams can afford free agents (players that are cut when teams disband).

I've also noticed my team, Boston, has "astronomical" market size, which seems weird, and our fan support is 100 even though we've never finished 1st.

Lastly, I've also noticed none of the teams have made any trades yet, which just seems odd, but not a huge concern.

Any thoughts or help?

Did you check the box that indicates to update league financials each year (it would be the historical financials)?

Look at the detail in other expenses and see which looks out of line, then make sure it was set correctly in the game setup financials.

I do have the box checked to update financials each year.

As for the details to see what other expenses is made up of, how do I find that out? I am looking at the team financials and don't see how I can get a drill down of what makes up that line.

I had previously ran a similar league that started in OOTP13 then imported to 14, but I goofed and saved over it and am starting over, so I'm pretty sure I've set it up the same way, but I could be wrong.

On the bottom of the middle column on your front office tab is an "Expenses Listing" which details the expenses

Player payroll
Misc Player expenses (may not show depending upon whether you are paying for a released player)
Staff expenses
Scouting expenses
Draft expenses
Player development expenses

Outside of payroll, do the others seem out of line?
