Award History

Is there no player award history like there is league/champion history for the NHL? Maybe it depends on what type of game I started (almost positive I started 'standard')?

No, there's no history for any of the player awards yet.

Shouldn't be too hard to implement this, no?

It gets a little complicated because some leagues (not the NHL, obviously, but many smaller ones) won't have all the players who've won awards in the database, so they'll need to be added (so the player names in the award history can have active links rather than just being unclickable names.)

And it's not as simple as importing histories from Eliteprospects or another source, since there are many completeness issues involved - for example, here's the EP page for the OHL first all-star team: http://www.eliteprospects.com/awards...ll-Star%20Team Note the missing data as recently as the mid-2000's.

So, there'll be quite a bit of manual work involved. I'm not ruling it out by any means, but it does involve spending some time that may be better spent elsewhere. We'll see.

Although I'm not sure if it would be as easy as simply entering data onto a spreadsheet and I'm not extremely skilled in coding, if you guys ever needed somebody to fill in information like this or filling in the missing historical drafts, I'd be more than willing to help you guys out lol

That makes sense. Could we just get NHL for now?

That'd be the first one to get added, of course. It won't be doable for FHM4, but award history is on my list of things I'd like to add to our internal editor for FHM5, so there's probably a decent chance of it happening.
