Writing over photos with facegen

Started a new current season FHM4 game last week, and after I created the game, I transferred player photos into the current game save (I like having the cut out photos for as many players as possible - and then have the others just be facegenned).

Before I started the game and added the photos, I took at look at the Anaheim roster and opened some of the player files in the game - and of course it generated facegens for them). After overwriting all of the player photos with the cut out photos - when I reopened the game it worked fine the first time - but any subsequent time I opened it, the game would write over the cut out photo with a facegen - but just for those Anaheim players I had previously opened.

I am wondering if there is any way to stop the game from overwriting the cut out photos with Facegens?

Have you figured it out?

Never really thought that it would work to use facegen and real photos at the same time. But it would be nice to set the game up like that.

I couldn't recreate your problem in a test save though. Seemed to be working like intended.

Is your game overwriting the .png files for those players in the player_pics folder?
C:\Users\User\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 3\saved_games\game-name.lg\graphics\player_pics

Do you have any files in your facegen folder?
C:\Users\User\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 3\fg_files
Maybe it somehow created .fg files for those players and now chooses to use these instead of the cut out photos.
