Bug report
I really like the new game. I've found a couple minor bugs. Just finished up my first regular season. After Game #162 I was surprised to find another game on the schedule, so I ended up playing 163 for no apparent reason.
In a 21-inning marathon that ended up in a 12-10 final, the scoreboard showed that the visiting team had scored 10 runs in the top of the 21st (they actually scored 3). And twice now in extra inning games the box score showed incomplete data, e.g., didn't list all the home runs; pitchers lines were incorrect, etc. Also, a situation that came up in earlier versions. Runners on first and third and no out. Batter hits into a 6-4-3 DP and the runner stays at 3rd. I can hardly think of a situation where that would actually occur in real baseball. Otherwise, all good and very enjoyable. |

With the last issue, I've run across that as well. I usually attribute that to bad baserunning :-). On the note of bad baserunning, I wouldn't mind it if runners got thrown out trying to advance on sacrifice flies a bit more often, as long as it's applied equally to both teams :-). |

Yeah, it's tough for us to replicate some of those bugs.
Did you have a sudden device shutdown during a game? Or did the game crash and need to be reopened? Things like that can create all kinds of anomalies when you start the game again. There's also bit rot, which can cause a seemingly okay file to behave in odd ways. (For example, a photo file with bit rot can show distortions in the image when you open it.) |
