1) Community Hockey Manager (i.e. community-spirited in that hopefully the hockey gaming community will have plenty of input into the game)
2) Playoff Hockey Manager 3) From the Bench Hockey 4) In the Crease Hockey 5) OOTP Hockey (just because it's OOTP - it doesn't have to stand for anything) Last edited by archibalduk; 10-19-2011 at 01:42 PM. |

Top of the Net Hockey (winner!)
Into the Net Hockey Along the Boards Hockey Across the Blue Line Hockey (too long) Hoist the Cup Hockey What do I get if my name suggestion is selected? Personally, I think Behind the Bench Hockey might be the best one the others mentioned so far. Also, beware that the Wikipedia list is nowhere near exhaustive. It is missing many titles from games that were released on older consoles, older computer systems, and even arcade machines. Hopefully you guys will have an attorney do the appropriate searches to ensure that there are no trademark violations. |

Well, what information do you want to present in the title?
1. It's a hockey game, so perhaps the word 'hockey' could appear. 2. It's a management game, so the word 'management' seems logical. So how about 'Hockey Manager'? I'm not very good at this.

Get the Puck out of my Face Hockey Manager
There you go, that's got everything; my thorough brand awareness analysis from earlier, further reinforcement of said analysis with the mention of 'Puck' and bolstered with hugely unsubtle overtones of aggression and violence, which is pretty much the point of hockey, plus it's a catchy acronym as well.

i think it should be ootp hockey to keep the company name associated with the product! ootp baseball has a great track record so ootp hockey would get that positive connotation with it
