Combine ITP and OOTP

This is going to be very brief...

I was playing the demo of ITP and thought, this would be a great feature to add to the OOTP! It would also allow more time be spent on OOTP, rather than OOTP and ITP.

I think something ITP added to OOTP would be a HUGE feature...

My two cents.

I would rather have the games separate but keep them compatible with each other. Allow league/player export and importing.

ITP did essentially run off the same structure as the OOTP 5x or 6x versions. There were some oddities, but for the most part, you could play your ITP game on OOTP, or your OOTP game in ITP.

It was a long time ago, so I'm sure I'm not 100% correct, but I do remember something to that effect.

Not just yes, but Hell, yes.

I've been pumping for a merger of the ITP and OOTP games for years now. Recognizing that some people have a poor opinion of role playing, all you'd need is to add one check box upon league setup.

At the point where the setup wizard asks whether you want a fictional game, or an historical, add the option for 'fictional with role playing (ITP)'. I can't see roleplaying working well with either an historical or a modern MLB universe.

I really liked ITP but I'd rather keep it separate from OOTP. The purposes of the games seem very different to me and i think that any attempt to combine them would result in a product that is lesser than each individually.
