Question Historical transaction

I have been searching the forum to determine if there is any way in OOTP 9, or will be in OOTP 10, to play a historical season with a setting that will automate historical transaction, e.g., trades, injuries, releases, etc. From what I have found it seems that there is no way to do that and all such transactions must be tracked and made manually. Is that correct?

This would be a nice option to have at some point for the hardcore replay crowd - even if transactions weren't automated, maybe some sort of "In/Out" function the user could set up where guys would change teams on specific dates according to history. SAT football has this kind of function, where players who switched teams during the year drop off the active roster of their current team ("Out") and then become active on their new team ("In"). I believe Cactus League Basketball has a similar feature.

There's also another PC baseball game out there that has duplicate player listings for guys who played on more than one team that season - the user can simply make the player inactive on one team until the date of the actual trade. Even though it's not automated historical transactions per se, it functions the same way as long as the user has access to actual transaction dates.
