Bug or Feature? Auto-replacment of MLB logos

I use my own MLB logos for my historical leagues. I notice that the game replaces the "small" versions of my custom logos with its own versions after the end of every season. I believe it does this in order to provide historically accurate versions of the team logos as the years progress--but I find this "feature" annoying, because I prefer the logos I use to the historical MLB logos provided by the game.

Is there any way to turn off this automatic logo update feature? Or perhaps have a future update where the logo update feature can be turned off?

If you have RAW files in your logos folder, either delete them, or move them into another folder outside of the OOTP hierarchy, then the game should stop loading them.
