Suspended in spring training but still in lineup

I think I found a bug. I had a player suspended for 10 games at the end of spring training, but allowed in the lineup on opening day. This can't be right, can it? Suspensions should carry over into the regular season, shouldn't they?

Did the game actually let you start and go to the broadcast/webcast screen with him in the lineup?
