Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with Fake MLB

I can't figure out why in my fake MLB that I made, started in 1901, and won' change team names, stadiums, games didn't jump from 140 to 154, etc. thoughout history like the real historical leagues do? Any ideas on what I could have missed??? I checked auto expand, import league settings, etc. Everything except import real rookies??? Is this a bug? Is it not working because I'm not importing real rookies?

As far as i can tell, you only get the 'real' expansion when you use Start a Historical League from a existing database file. (I could be wrong!!!)

I did indeed do that with the lahman. Then deleted the players and filled with fictional.

I would think that it is getting all the changes from the database - so if it's not pulling in the data, its not going to be there. again, just a guess.

Never mind.................got it. I dropped my laptop yesterday, cracking the LCD screen, and I switched computers, bringing the files with me. And didn't load lahman onto my current system. Duh!!
