Just guessing, but I think half of OOTP players are out of high school. Judging by past attempts to start a league like this, many are worried about pay leagues because a) you're asked to trust the commish with the money, and many people were against it because of b) the fear that an owner would trash a team and then leave it. As for me, I'm c) too lazy to mail the money.

IatricSB pretty much said it......i have the time to wait and sweat it out and answer all the questions or concerns, and i also have to rely on some of my current GM's in my leagues to possibly drop a line that im not gonna run with the money and when it comes to GM's trashing teams, that is a HUGE concern and that is an area that has been discussed on a small level (i.e. fines or immediate removal before it gets to bad). I have also tried to clarify that the inaugural GM's will be picking their own team and they dont have to rely on myself or a computer AI to pick their teams. I have the web space paid for right now so i have the time to do this, but i know that some people have questions and concerns and just about every GM that is in my leagues know i have no problem answering questions and making a league as enjoyable as possible

We all know that there is only 1 winner in this 1st season but hopefully there will be more than 1 in the future depending on who this goes as i said i will be opening more of these leagues later and the price will only drop as the prizes get bigger and better

I have 70's cool, but am lost with today's jargon. I wouldn't know a shizzle from a fizzle and have no plans on adding "homies" to my list of most used words

Would it be possible to have multiple people control one team?

I mean split the cost and have one name in the forums through which all trades and stuff could be officialized through.

but on a serious note, the only problem with that is there is no room for "growth". GM's cant get a handle on their teams in one year.....that is MY opinion, BUT i would be more than happy to make it a replay league and each GM can try to win it all each year every year.
I agree, I like to build a team that can be a contender for years, so I may concede the first year of winning to have a team that could win for three straight years. Also, this virtually rules out the value of 5 star prospects.

On another note, unless it is a two league, one division each league, I would also have the team with the best record in both leagues get free advancement the next year, because in my opinion the playoffs are the biggest bunch of luck there is, and if a team can get the best record, it shows they did a good job the whole way through and actually have a good team. Luck can win 11 games, it can't win 116.
