The Freeloaders are moving back up to Perfect, for the first time as an OL member. Green Lake and Ewa Beach each have deciding Game 5's forthcoming.

I have great news for you. You don’t have to deal with kiddo again next season. He gets out of silver league and should be running into some tough competition in Gold.
At this rate, I won’t ever catch up to him.

You can thank Kushiel for the last minute pitcher recommendation (he did not know about it). The kids always admire his teams in PT and kiddo spend all his points to grab Dennis Martinez before the playoffs started. He saw him on the Sanguine Classics Team go 9 innings a few times.

In similar news, his brother (Redmond Defenders) will stay in Bronze for another season.
He could not get past the non-OL Lake Erie Seawolves team.

Enjoy a week of peace before kiddo and maybe my own team (Sad Hill Hunters) will try to make it to Silver league.

We didn't put up the kind of resistance I demand against great teams like his, and that was a massive disappointment. I expected a little more guts from my guys in at least taking one game.

I234 playoff update:

In AC Melaka and Gotham are about to get underway in the Championship Series.

Melaka swept the Horrors and the Gotham Knights took out Oklahoma City in 4 games.

In the NC: Tacoma has a 1-0 lead with a 3-0 win over Victoria. Dan Quisenberry and Dick Ellsworth combine on a no hitter!

Tacoma reached beating the Boogie Knights in 4 games while Victoria swept the Misfits.

Good one. My son said he is worried about facing the Puppies (3-4 regular season record). Mom, working as VET, works with puppies all day and told him that „Puppies“ always win.

This will be a fun one to watch. Time to find a quiet spot on the deck, grab the notebook, and get a cold drink delivered on Father’s Day.

You were unlucky in the games. Losing by 1 point in two games after your pitchers delivered terrific performances is a tough blow to take.

Game 1 getting decided by errors is a tough one to watch.

Hopefully there will be plenty more competitions down the road.

Gold league playoff update:


Waffletown reverted back to their June form and lost 3 straight to Pensacola in the LDS.

Annandale jumped out to a 2 games to 0 lead over Hartford, but couldn't strike that final blow. Hartford came back to take games 3, 4 and 5 to complete the reverse sweep.

Waffletown and Annandale will remain at the Gold level for next season. Terra Incognita couldn't make up the ground necessary to avoid relegation and will drop back to Silver.

There was no comeback for the Patriots, but there was one for the 1980's All Stars, who will be in Bronze next season after coming back from the brink against the Bhundurs Blundurs. It's on to the LCS against the Waltham Admirals, who somehow went 5-1 against us during the season.

Considering they probably didn't change from their initial squad from a few seasons ago, I'm shocked that they did so well against us. We should sweep these guys easily. We are the class of this league, and there's no excuse for failure. If we're not in the Iron Level Series after this one, then either the RNG is self-aware or I have made a colossal error in team building, because this is not a series we should be losing.
