Rubby de la Rosa had to leave the game in the 5th with a muscle strain, which cost him the Win, as the Blue Jays blanked the Royals 6-0. The injury will not cost him his next start. Jake Elmore also left the game. It looks like bench time for him for the next week. Leonard O'Neill and Joey Gallo homered for Toronto. Mike Bybee was scheduled to have a day off but a last minute change put him back in the line-up and he made it count, going 2 for 3 with a home run in a 4-3 Blue Jays win over the Royals. J.R. Logan Darnell is called up from AAA. At the same time Jose Gomez was recalled and Preston Palmiero was sent back down.
