Previous season databases

I'm suggesting this while making an assumption that the databases between versions are 1) not different besides the updates, and 2) can be transferred relatively easily.

I know historical mode is a thing and it might make it somewhat redundant, but I am wondering if it is possible to include previous databases in the standard game for each new iteration of FHM, starting from 1 or 2, maybe? Basically instead of just having have one or two starting dates for the current season, have starting dates for the last... I dunno, maybe the past 5 seasons?

With historical mode, if you're doing let's say the 15-16 season, you don't really get the full experience because it only includes players drafted in the 15-16 draft whereas the full database would have players drafted before that as well.

Maybe it can be an optional download? Or DLC? But yeah, I'd love to be able to use previous databases with the newest versions of the game, assuming it is possible to do without too much hassle on your end. I'm kind of hoping it'd work the same way as migrating an FHM 5 save to FHM 6.

(If I can do it on my end, I'm all ears too, as I own all the previous games).

Probably wouldn't be feasible. The database underwent a lot of structural changes from year to year in the early versions, so we'd have to account for all of those to convert it to FHM6's format. Things have only settled down enough in the last couple of years that we were able to enable imports from FHM5 saves this year. Even the relatively small differences between the two games meant quite a bit of work, and every year we went back would get increasingly more difficult.

Disappointing(not towards you!), but understandable and if I'm being honest, expected. It's all good.
