I'm looking for a good park to use for my fictional Cleveland franchise. Any recommendations?

If you want something that could fit in a downtown or on land, Fresno, Grand Rapids, Green Bay or Charlotte could be good options. Grand Rapids and Green Bay probably have less mod work. If you're looking for something close to water, Montreal is my favorite park by far - otherwise Vancouver could be a good option. Also - if you haven't checked them out already take a look at eriqjaffe's USBL stadiums. There are a lot of good options in there too. If you have any questions about modding, feel free to PM me. |

If you want something more southwest in appearance, El Paso or Tuscon could be good choices. |

Victory Field Remodel
I did a bit of work on the outfield of Victory Field (the Indianapolis stadium) - I rebuilt the outfield and added a few more features to the scoreboards.

OneOK Field Remodel
And while we're at it, here's a new version of ONEOK Field, with a few more defined textures.

I was actually wanting something "Amarilloish", if that makes sense? Not a fan of team branding since I like to run fictional stuff. I tried to make Hodgetown using the OOTP Park Generator, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do with the XML file that I got back in the download, and I haven't found any usable day or night view yet of that park. |

And as far as modding goes, it should be pretty easy to remove them in game. Just go into the templates or stadium texture files and erase/color over them - there's a short video that shows how you can do that in the first post of this thread. |

Las Vegas, NV - Las Vegas Ballpark
The minor league team in Las Vegas recently opened a new stadium, and it's been pretty highly regarded. I know eriqjaffe will make an accurate minor league version of it, but I wanted to try turning it into an MLB park. I took the trademark airplane hanger/airplane shape and put it in right field instead of behind home plate, and made it a retractable roof stadium.
The park itself is very hitter friendly (at elevation, desert, etc. etc.) and is particularly friendly to lefties. Open Stadium Zip File can be found here Closed Stadium Zip file can be found here Park Factors Open Day Open Night Closed Day Closed Night |

Pawtucket, RI - McCoy Stadium
I was reading through Klew's thread on his USBL, and I realized we didn't have a stadium in metro Providence yet. So, I decided to take the current home of the Pawtucket Red Sox and upsize (and update) it a bit. There is a fire station on the grounds of the ballpark, so I decided to update it and grow it a bit and put it in left field - and having learned the lesson of Tucson, I think it actually turned out ok.
The park is pretty pitcher friendly because of the usual reasons (low elevation, close to the ocean, further north, etc. etc. etc.) Zip file can be found here Park Factors Day Night |

Raleigh, NC - Duke Energy Stadium
Since I started making stadiums I've paid a bit more attention to expansion proposals. I was reading an article about the expansion bids in Portland and Montreal, and it mentioned a third campaign in Raleigh that was trying to build popular support for an expansion team there. The case is relatively convincing(ish) and they had some mock-ups for potential stadiums, so I decided to make one that looked intriguing.
The location apparently has been marked out in the city's strategic plan as a possible location for a future sports stadium. It's an interesting spot because it''s bisected by a railroad line - hence the rooftop seats in the building on the opposite side of the tracks. It's also supposed to have a mixed-use development next to the park, which was kind of fun to build. The park itself is relatively pitcher friendly, particularly with the deep outfield. The power alley in right is particularly deep, so get your right handed power hitters. Zip File can be found here Park Factors Day Night |

New Orleans, LA - Shrine on Airline II
I recently redid Shrine on Airline, the New Orleans Stadium. I redid the outfield, incorporating some actual Creole Townhouses (instead of the ... other ones) and brought in a new center field structure - and I finished out the bullpens. I think it's better, but I kept the old version of Shrine on Airline in the google drive if that's your jam.

Hey NielsonCP, what would you recommend to sub in for some Japanese baseball stadiums that aren't part of ***? I'm expanding my *** league and need four new parks (Niigata, Shizuoka, Naha, and Takamatsu fwiw). All the real-world parks are single bowl, some with outfield lawns instead of seats.
Thanks in advance for your suggestion! |

Otherwise, you should take a look at eriqjaffe's thread. He is building realistic imitations of MiLB stadiums at the moment, many of which fit your description. Hope that helps! |
