Defending bunts
It seems like when you put your infield in to defend against an obvious bunting situation, most of the time the bunt is succesfull anyways. This needs to be fixed or there should be a "Super Infield in" defending option.

Do you have some data to show sac bunts are too successful in OOTP?
I would think most sac bunts are laid down against a corners in defense and are still successful 70-80% of the time (from a quick google search). A good bunt down the line is a fairly easy play to get the batter but having to spin and throw to 2b or 3b is a tough play to make. Did you mistype or are you playing your IF in to stop a sac bunt? If so, like real life, who is going to cover 2b or 3b to take a throw. Or even 1b for that matter? |

IF in is designed to stop a runner on third from scoring. Corners in can both defend a sacrifice and also try to take away the bunt for hit. So yes, corners in should be more successful against a SF bunt.
Look at it this way, If you're playing IF in and the 2nd baseman and SS are in on the grass how are they to get back to cover a throw to second or first? Or third if a runner is being moved from second to third? I would certainly think OOTP handles this properly but also keep in mind that 70-80% of SF attempted bunts are successful and most of those are made against a corners in defense with the pitcher up trying to bunt (NL games of course). |

Agreed. Corners in to stop sac bunt. All in to stop a runner from 3rd from scoring.
