Manually Import Negro Players
I would like to manually import selected Negro League players into my game. I understand the process for importing a player, but what I don't have is the Player ID for these players as they appear in the historical_minor_database.odb file. How do I find the ID for Josh Gibson for example? Is there a list somewhere?
If I manually import a player such as Satchel Paige in his youth from the Negro League, will he also be imported by the game when he made his major league debut? Also, what is the best source for Negro League Player stats? |

Here is a link to a post by Spritze which has a file attached with the negro players id's... If you do an advanced search by user name "Spritze" you will find many posts regarding the negro league players and just database stuff in general... He is the master on these subjects...

if you just want to create new players with the info and then edit the created player with the info on Seamheads, that's a very good way to go. i did it all the time in 17 and worked just fine. A bit tedious and time consuming. Seamheads is really a great site.

Seamhead provided ootp with 100% of their data so it is all in 18 by default.
